CQC in VR is fantastic

Im not sure where the best place to post this. The CQC forum? Suggestions? I dont know..but I had a few rounds today in CQC in my rift for the first time, and it was great. Typically in CQC I'd maybe get 1 kill per round at most with a bunch of assists (Im not great at it, tho I like it when I can get a game in). In VR, I got around 2 or 3 kills per round. Maybe I was just having a good day, but just that freedom to look around instantly, knowing where targets are, seems like a good thing for me. This may be my favourite VR experience ever. Mostly because most of my VR experiences have been solo, other than social apps. CQC is a VR multiplayer experience like no other...highly recommending this.

Fly Safe!

VR in ed is amazing.

Especially with friends.
Flying side by side through a res.
Swooping down on a wanted.
Watching a buddy on the left face plant an asteroid.

Or even better yet, as a group of SRV's powering across a plain.
Dust kicking up, taillights through the fog, or headlights in the night.

Definitely agree with the OP. A lot of the regular CQC players also play in VR, I suspect it's a much higher proportion than in the main game (which is also good to be fair)...
Spatial awareness is better, and the feeling of speed you get as you fly close to structures/asteroids to try and avoid being hit is amazing.
Also, with the fast action, the lower resolution of the headset [compared to a monitor] just doesn't seem as noticeable as in the main game. You usually haven't got time to notice things like the screen-door-effect, for instance ;).
