CQC CQC power allocation after death

why when you die can't it simply remain at the settings you died, or better yet let you set a default re-spawn setting in the ship layout settings?

I'm presuming you're talking about power distribution, and by your statement you set it at a preference (certain configuration) you like. But with the greatest respect you aren't getting the most out of your ship's capabilities this way, learning to distribute energy/power on the fly constantly is one of the most important practices to succeding in any combat situation.

Edit: To clarify if you're not sure what 'pips' to each capacitor does.

Varying pips to each capacitor has two functions for each:

Firstly for each - Distribute energy from your powerplant when it's needed (capacitor is drained)

Secondly for each - Pips to SYStems boosts shield strength, to ENGinges varies your top speed and blue-zone sweet spot, and to WEaPons for cooling of your hardpoints.

I second this. I'm constantly shifting these. That way you can run away from your pursuer, run down your prey, switch to power to guns and fire for longer, shift a balance of power to engines and shields and run/evade at max efficiency when you need them.

I do shift them around depending on my situation, though I did not know keeping 'pips' in system did anything but speed up the shields coming back on line, thanks. I will look more in to this function.
