Crap! Just bought a type 10 AT INDAOL and I cant get a FS drive that will travel more than 7.oo LYs .

Try flying a different ship to where you want to buy the stuff and transfer the type 10 there using Ship Transfer.
This is why I use EDSM when buying a ship to find a shipyard with Li Yong discount that carries A rated core modules.

Some people do this old-fashioned thing called "planning ahead" and check before buying. Or at least don't sell their existing ship - 'just in case'.
