Crap Payout on missions

Why are the payout on missions crap your lucky if u get anything over 90k. Before the update I was getting between 300k and 600k my ranking is petty officer.
My mates ranking is Lord and his mission crs are the same is this a bug?

Yes, the payouts now are kinda similar to what they where at beginning. You will get used to it soon. Meanwhile there is still tons of ways to earn.

Missions payout are indeed crap; Did have an offer to deliver data : 80 credits.

how on earth are u getting so much from missions... 90k? i wish! i get between 1-10k for missions when i do them... dont even do them anymore, just do bounty hunting and community missions to get some credits... seriously money is awful... i dont understand how u can offord such crazy ship prices lol.

This is the first thing I looked for when coming here today, to see if it is just my instance of the game. Whatever happened with the 2.2 patch regarding missions is very disappointing. As a Broker to a client to whom I am allied, getting 10K-14K for data delivery missions, and 15K-25K for delivered goods is complete nonsense. I was easily pulling in 30k-50k and 200k-300k (sometimes up to 1.3M) respectfully before today. And some of these missions are as low as 8K for "friendly" clients but the fine upon failure is still 20K+

you mention navy ranks but they had never anything to do with what missions you get, its your rep with the local factions that matters.

I just took a mission for 8 million for 4kLy round trip. Wouldn't say the payout really corresponds to the time invested, a boring ABA trade route will still serve you better. But I did get to see a cool enormous star with a planet right next to it :) And I was reminded of how dull honk-jumping for longer periods of time is ;)

Edit: Got my mission from Diaguandri, where I am friendly with a few factions.

Faction ranking has no bearing on mission payout.

Cordial is not high enough to see the bigger payout missions. You want Friendly/Ally for that.

I should be asking what your Combat/Trade/Explorer ranking is. That is the main factor.

Just been around most of my regular allied systems and they are indeed paying total rubbish now :( yesterday it was about 50k average, now it's 5k, even the long range ones are worthless, 14k to do 200ly??

This is why when I first played elite two years ago I never made any money and ignored missions (which is why all my ranks were really low till I started back 4 months ago).

Lucky I made a fortune in the last few months from all my rank up missions.

Oh well, guess it's passenger time.

Soooooo . . . basically, anyone who has been playing forever and has lots of credits/ships is good to go and anyone with less than 6 months in and struggling to earn credits/ships is .
