Crap Payout on missions

I just got 4 million payed for transporting 6 people 39 ly, so I have to disagree. Payout is pretty good.

Cordial is not high enough to see the bigger payout missions. You want Friendly/Ally for that.

Friendly/Ally doesn't matter. I'm allied with 3 factions and friendly with 2 and the payout is still garbage.

Good, I liked the old-style payouts more. So I can be a space bum again in my stinkin' Adder. Between cg's and huge mission dollars I've become too rich despite my epic mmo laziness.

I don't mind the ceos nerf, even a slight cut in the others, but the payout now really doesn't make it worthwhile.
My only hope is that donation missions will go back to 2k and 5k, so far I haven't seen any to check.

Speak for yourself. I spent eight weeks, some commanders longer I'm sure, earning Friendly and Allied status with some factions to start getting some good payouts while grinding ranks only to have the rug pulled out. And yet being a taxi or doing illegal missions pays 10x or 20x as much? Where's the logic in that?

There is no logic. It's stupid.

It smacks of this: FD has put effort into doing passenger missions. They want people to do it. So, nerf the normal missions so that people have to play this feature.

I don't like this. It's like levering me to play their way.

Nuts to that. No passenger missions for me. End of.

Eh, if payments are down across the board (which seems to be the case) I think it's much more likely this is a bug. No need to break out the tinfoil hats just yet. Give it a week and see if they fix things.

I have the same problem. All missions reward droped down over 90%.I am allied with the minor factions in Cubeo, Master and Entrepreneur but all I get is below 100k (transport /courier-missions) at least in a 150 LY bubble. In 2.1 I sometimes (not allways) got up to 1.200k for a mission in xxx LY distance away. Maybe it is bad luck but this is from the beginning of beta 2.2 till now, so... no, nothing to do with luck.

Likewise. It's not so much the payouts but the quantity. I, too, have been ranking up but with finding just two missions at fed aligned factions tonight and equally slim pickings last night it's going to be very hard to rank up...

quantity was fine for me until today. suddenly it has gone down too.

Michael Brookes did confirm that the poor mission payouts was a bug and it was being worked on. Haven't seen any updates since he confirmed it though. I'm hoping it'll be addressed sooner rather than later! I guess it all depends upon how bad the problem actually is.

Well, poor paying missions are a problem.

But mission numbers may be too. I've just returned to my home system (a busy one with usually a few CMDRs around in the local station).

Went to the Mission menu. 0 missions available. None from any of the 7 minor factions. And I am allied to 3 or 4 of them and friendly with the others (except the pirate faction). And I am Elite/Entrepreneur/Ranger.

Had a nice simple 1 jump slave delivery mission today, it was back up to 79k pay. Not huge but was a random mission in station I had never been so no rep, but that's huge compared to last few days so looks like its going back up slowly.
