Crash site mission locked container. Did I miss something?

So, I took a crash site mission "Grab the personal documents" Threat lvl 1. After killing ze baddies (do the threat lvls actually mean anything) I found the body of the pilot. 3 containers (1 locked) crashed ship with red panel. Went through everything and didnt get the "personal documents" I assume they were in the locked container. I checked the mission to see if they gave me a code but no luck. Is the code on the pilots body? did I miss something?

Keep a supply of e-breach on hand in your ship. Use to unlock the container (if stored in back pack hold cursor over keypad and press+hold the 'F' key iirc). The red panel on the ship can be cut open using the Maverick cutting tool.

Thank you. I have used the cutting tool but never used an e breach.

OK completed task. When I went back this time the item was in the unlocked container. Anyway I learned to use the E-Breach. For any new people reading. I transfered the E-Breach to my suit whilst I was in the ship (it showed as being transfered), but, It did not work. I had to go back to my ship and stand in the blue boarding tube and move it to my inventory from there.

Well, if this hasn't changed since the Odyssey was introduced, I would say that the threat level reflects the combat rank, but not the quantity, of the possible adversaries. For example, eight low-rank enemies would be shown as a 'low' threat level, while zero (yes, zero!) max-rank enemies would be shown as a 'high' threat level. So it's not much help in fact!

You know, I never really noticed... I just killed them all and let the Pilots Federation sort it out!
