Crash site mission markers not showing?

As per title. I have two crash site missions and on scanning the planets there are no blue mission objective markers. There are multiple crash sites and also irregular markers, distress beacons etc but nothing showing up as the mission. Is this a new bug?

yep, salvage missions seem to fail at spawning mission sites, (tested again today at new locations, 1 out of 3 spawned) might see what happens if you only take one salvage mission at a time

Thanks. I've tried logging out/in nothing changed. Guess I'll abandon them and go do something else until it's fixed.

Can confirm this. Took four salvage missions to a planet and not a single mission marker spawned. Had to abandon the lot.

Same here, just not really worried about gaining factions anymore. Apparently if you play you have to take a faction hit for undoable missions, plus a nice fine of 100k for making the false assumption that the game works.

I took professional takedown mission in Ansuz, planet B4 is blue, but when I come there - no target. Two settlements - landed, checked all NPCs, no target. Jumped out, back to system, scan nav beacon, relog, nothing helps. I noticed another strange behaviour - after scanning Nav Beacon, enter FSS - and still about half of the planets and bodies is undiscovered!
Big mess. After 5 patches, still lot of problems.

I exited the game to desktop, re-started, jumped to another system and back again, still no dice so abandoned both missions but got no fines.
Sigh, game is a mess.

yep, there seems no way to complete them... so hardly any restore missions around, and scavenger missions are broken... forcing players to either go explore, or engage in shooty or criminal stuff

Yep, they are borken for me, too. The problem started yesterday, Thursday it still worked for me. Now, no Retrieval Mission can be completed due to Crash Site not spawning. GHreat work, Frontier

I had that yesterday.......today I had two crash site missions that wouldn't give me the objective when I opened the usual panel, so I had to just ditch them.

I can also confirm this. I had one today and it highlighted the planet, but not the crash site (there actually was a crash site on the planet containing an item of the type I needed to collect, but it wasn't the correct site). Has anyone logged this in the issue tracker?

Been working all day for me, but come this evening, no site markers for this particular salvage mission. Has worked before.

I still did not dare to accept a new mission of this type. Where there any reports of this being fixed than I migfht have missed ?

I've stopped doing salvage missions as they are not spawning on the planet surfaces. Lost to much rep with them.

After seeing no reports that the salvage missions had/had not been fixed I decided to try a couple to check.

The first one spawned two identical locations for a crashed satellite so I landed and took the data from the port and then cut the panel to get the mission item. The panel dropped to the floor leaving an identical panel in its place which couldn't be cut so I logged out. On re-starting I had a different location to go to and completed the mission.

The second mission worked fine. I don't know if all of them have been fixed for sure now but I did managed to complete both.

I'd still be a bit wary though until there's some official confirmation.

Also confirming: I had a salvage mission last night, the planetary body was blue but no blue mission site. Probed the planet, nothing. Went back to the nav beacon to scan, nothing. Reloged, nothing.

It appears to be broken, sadly.

Had the same experience yesterday. Checked the nav beacon and mapped all the planets in the system to see if it would show up in the wrong place but nope.

Seems to be fine if you only take 1 mission at a time.....
