Crashed Alien Spacecraft Image Transmitted?

This morning I was watching the latest David Braben Interview, and over it there appears to be an interruption showing what I think looks like a crashed alien spacecraft. There's an obvious wing (arm) shape and then kicked up rocks as if it skidded into the ground. Here's the clearest image I could get.

What do you think it is?

That does look like an SRV! And if that's the case this is huge. I looks like it could be something coming out of the ground. That bottom part looks like the rim of a hole. Something with arms coming out of the ground, one leg is broken. On the right in the foreground, that looks like a broken spike (arm).

Tracing the outlines and following the pattern I created this drawing...

I believe this is the remains of an alien skeleton—a giant one. Near by might by a SRV or older buggy from an earlier era. It looks like it might be coming out of the ground... crashed, or it fell to it's final resting place. There might be more than one, near, out of view! The spike shaped arms—there are more in the foreground!

The transmission must be a message from an earlier explorer... maybe the wires got crossed through time and space which explains why its interrupting David Braben's interview. :)

You are missing the human made like cylinder type of thing that is under it. Also it is really hard to tell the scale as there really is no reference and the other clearer pictures pretty much exclude there being an SRV in there. That one also looks like a much smaller cut down truck version with out the cargo area and missing a wheel set.

Yeah, which is why I think it is an earlier model, like the old NAV beacons in the game. I didn't really finish drawing it because I wasn't to sure about that theory too, but it really does help to see the scale of this thing!

Let me look for another version, where you can tell there is an organic and a metal component to it real quick. I would like to see what you come up with from that.(not bashing on the drawing or anything it is very clearly up to for debate here.)

If you look at the whole thing just before the transmission Mr Braben talked about landing on a planet and wiping out a civilization that was already there 'a sentient one' maybe this is a warning that they are coming back and want their planet back?
