Horizons Crashed object

Hi,

I saw a crashed thing on the surface of a planet, it makes slow dronelike soundscapes and every few minutes it plays a piano song. Also it emits white or pink noise in morse code and there is some digital noise in the background.


I'm unable to scan it, any thoughts?

I mapped the datalink scanner and also assigned it to group 2. Wasn't this a bug in the beta?

It was but it got fixed. Maybe its back, not sure haven't tried on live yet. One thing people did try to get it to work was turn on the setting for deploy hardpoints on fire option.

Its a crashed nav beacon btw :) incase you hadnt made the connection :)

yes,, that is a crashed Nav beacon,, it usually has a skimmer or 2 protecting it - it also has rare tech dl's - sometimes a couple of canisters are nearby,, within a Km.
