Greetings.
I know that FD is currently looking into this issue and it's a nasty one, especially for us hunters. Tuesday night, my game crashed 4 times in about 20 minutes. Same RES, while fighting condas. Now, I came across two topics that might be of interest regarding this issue, for us players and maybe for Frontier (albeit I believe they might already know the true source of the problem).
One is that the game launcher might be the culprit. Closing it while playing would prevent the game from crashing.

The other, which also made sense (because, in fact, I was somehow able to play at a different RES without crashes for a day and a half in this past weekend) is that ROCKY type RES are at fault.

I've tried the first method in the same RES yesterday (around 3 or 4 hrs) and i fought several condas with... no crashes ?!?! As crazy it might seem, with the launcher closed, the game did not crashed. It's obvious that maybe I was lucky, but it never hurts to spread the word, get opinions and have more people testing this stuff around. At least while a proper fix isn't released we might be able to play at peace.
Running on:
Intel Core i7 - 2600K (3.4 Ghz)
8GB of RAM
AMD Radeon 390X (Latest drivers)
Win 7 x64
x64 Horizons
Do your magic. Cheers.
