Crashsite Salvage missions

So i have been trying to do 2 crashsite salavage missions for the last 2 hours. I go to the planet, see the crashsite in blue, target and fly to it. Land then collect the object, check my mission log and it says i have 1/1 objects for the mission... however doesnt say mission is complete and does not progress to the drop off phase. going back to the station i do not see i have any missions that are complete and i do not have any way to turn it in.

I got these missions from the console not a mission giver. Also the second mission i cannot even find what its requesting me to get, it has only the one crashsite highlighted for both missions. so i am guessing i am doing something wrong however i cannot find a guide anywhere of how to do these missions. Is this a bug or am i missing something?

Mine just had no item at all.

Seems we've traded red panels that don't open properly with missions that just don't work.

I'm just hoping the hotfix will allow me to not CTD every time I get in the SRV. Then I can get back to failing the mission due to missing / inaccessible items. Alpha often had the items flying in the air near the crash, difficult to spot in the dark.

Yeh looks like mine's just done dead now. Had the CTD, used Horizons to reset. But then I CTD'd on an airless so it dropped me into my SRV and dimissed my ship on a massive plain of rocky land that no ship would ever land on... so I tried Base game. Sort of worked but wouldn't load in. Shows me in my ship now but then trying in Odyssey...

I exploded the horizons srv, then switched to EDO. That allows me to play, but never use the srv again (this was pre hotfix)

Managed to get into Horizons... going to try jumping out then trying Odyssey again.

Edit: Back in finally... I'm just letting those crash site missions fail. Just not worth the hassle.

As soon as I got within 2km of the crash site---whether in my ship or in my SRV--the game stutters and then crashes. It's impossible to do them in VR.
