I have a CRAZY idea to spice up CQC for 2.4, tying it into the new crime and punishment framework:
Have CQC as a punishment for players who are repeat offenders within the main game. They will have to fight their way out to freedom and a return to society.
A typical sentence for repeated offences could be to spend a total of 2 hours of fight time in CQC (i.e. fighting only, no waiting in lobbys or anything) and to achieve a minimum XP and kill count standard. Once all these are achieved, with no credit reward for fights (but it will count towards rank, prestige and PF rating), then you can return to the main game.
Furthermore, those undergoing such sentences can be marked as such in CQC so that others can go after them and see how good they are in combat.
Think of it a bit like the film Gladiator, but in space.
A lot of people will hate this idea. I say, if you don't want to do the time, don't do the crime.
What do you guys think...?
