Creating a character bio in-game ?

Was this in the DDF at all ? Apart from scanning a ship and seeing a CMDR name and combat rank, would anyone else be interested at all in having the ability to add a brief paragraph (limited to xxx characters like a Twitter bio) about yourself in the game thus creating a little bit of background lore for others to see ? Not really bothered by a character creation screen for this aspect but then the FP expansions would cater for this I'd imagine. (Prompted by a tweet from CMDR Mal_Iss)

I'm not too interested in the suggestion per se. I do think I'd like my bio created as I play based on my actions though. I suppose what I want is actually a commanders log. Nice idea, just doesn't appeal to me.

Could be interesting. You'll get the inevitable ridiculousness (I AM YOUR MOM AND IM OPEN FOR BUSINESS) that will cheese off some of the less-flexible in our playerbase but overall it seems like an extra tool to connect players. We can't really have too many avenues for interactivity.
