Other day had a random thought after watching the composer of FF14 do a meme level performance of Civilizations with an Omatome during a concert.
Found what the sensor in the device is called, a soft potentiometer, and then tested it with a Leo Bodnar control box, and so far it seems to work really well for what I imagined it being used for.
Ordered the proper wires instead of this hastily setup in the video, but it should get the idea across on how it will be used.
