Creating Waypoints (Frequently Visited Locations)

It's simple really. Similar to how we can bookmark a planetary station, why not let us bookmark (use "waypoints" in other words) places on planets we need to go back to time and time again, like the crashed ships with their G5 mats? It doesn't even have to be a way to cheat to find these places. Once we've found them, we should be able to plant a waypoint where we are in our ship or SRV.

Having to locate these places by way of coordinates over and over is really tiresome and frustrating. The waypoint system should have been introduced along with Horizons.

That's my opinion, anyway.

I blame the Goldfish, used as memory banks, in our ships.

Right now we can scan a ship and 10 minutes later, our ship has forgotten the details.

Agreed: We should be able to call up anywhere we have visited and add any information about the place we feel is relevant.To refer to at a later date.
