Creatures and Civilizations DLC

The three best DLC packs to come out were the Spooky, Adventure, and Studios packs. The Spooky pack was fantastic for its atmospheric scenery, the studios pack for its animatronics, and the Adventure pack for both! The heavy theming made it perfect for those of us that love making Disney and Universal inspired parks. The one thing that can be added to the game that would compliment all three of these packs are more animatronic creatures.

The only good creature in the vanilla set was the Krakken, which is typically too big to use. Since then we've had fantastic scorpions, spiders, crocs, and hippos to fill in our darkrides and themed rollercoasters. However, there are many more fantastic creatures that could be added.

The studios pack had a wonderful prop of a crushed studios tour car...but no Kong-like gorilla to sit atop its smashed exterior. A snow theme, but no yeti! And what is a wonderful jungle-themed park without a land dedicated to dinosaurs! I also know quite a few builders would love to have lions, tigers, and elephants to fill out their jungle cruises.

Now I know that its hard to sell a DLC without some kind of scenery to back it up. The inspiration for this concept actually comes from the World's Fair DLC pack that dropped recently. Group these animations with civilizations that they pair well with. Prehistoric bones and huts could pair with dinosaurs for a cavemen style theming. African palaces and villages would fill out the animals section. Building off of the spooky and adventure packs would be a good way to introduce a giant gorilla, and a yeti would be fantastic with Nepali structures and strings of prayer flags. Adding a couple of trident props would fill out the adventure statues and add an Atlantis theme to pair with the pirates and, of course, the mighty Krakken.

In closing, a dlc pack of this theming would be very complimentary to the already existing DLC, as well as provide many needed animatronics for those folks like myself that love re-creating the themes of our favorite rides from Disney and Universal.
