Newcomer / Intro Credit Balance Issue.

Hi all,
I was wondering if anyone else has had any credit balance issues?

Last night, I returned from a long trip out and cashed in my cartographic data at Ray Gateway. I netted over 252,000,000 cr. My balance was over 667,000,000cr at that point and so I went out and purchased a Dolphin, plus a few extras for outfitting it as I required. According to Coriolis the total cost was around 15,588,000 but after importing my latest data, Inara now reports my credit balance as 401,280,000cr. Obviously I can account for the cost of the new ship and the modules but for the life if me I can't account for the rest of the missing credits. Certainly not nearly enough to explain such a big drop in my credit balance!

Has anyone else had any unexplainable drops in their balance?

Almost every time someone has talked about "missing" money it's come from Crew taking a cut or some module they bought and didn't remember.

You can have a look in your journals on PC.

And the times it ISNT one of those things, it really WAS one of those things but the OP never comes back to admit it.

I wouldn't purely rely on INARA for up to date info even after an import
Check in game 1st and see what it says

Just logged back on and the credits are as I would have expected at well over 600,000,000. You were right by saying not to rely on Inara for up to date info. It has my current location right and the new ship plus the updated modules but hasn't made a very good job of updating my credit balance.

Regarding forgetting that I'd bought modules etc. I can accept that it happens whereby people have bought 'extras' and forgotten but trying to account for missing a couple of hundred million is another matter.

Anyway, all is good now so thanks for the replies everyone

Now that I've logged on and back off the game again, Inara is now reporting the correct amount of credits.
