Firstly, i have heard enough whining about people super-cruising away during combat. It isnt MWO, COD or WOT where you get killed and your load-out and customization are waiting for you on your next sortie. No whatever you have, you worked for it. They all have the potential of being lost so i ask you, why will i stick around for an inevitable loss?
So what do i suggest? i suggest a credit system based on damage delivered. Just a little reward for the effort put in. You still get the credit for a full kill + damages delivered (think of it like some sort of savage).
Challenge: delivering credits to only the Commander who stuck around/Won.
I believe this will ease the anger the people feel when someone bails in combat.

Second, i don't about you guys but i found it really annoying when you are trying to get the hell out after taking one too many pounding and currently being assaulted and abused(picking the wrong side in conflict region :smilie

That you have to holster you weapons when trying to get super-cruise to charge.
Why can't i charge while still fighting? well i have a suggestion/compromise.

- Engaging in combat while super-cruise is charging could result in critical systems failure due to surpassing maximum heat threshold.
- Weapons must be COMPLETELY holstered. I repeat COMPLETELY holstered before charge is complete or else ship will be destroyed because structural integrity will be compromised as the ship is not completely sealed. Ship cannot take the strain of SC or HC without being sealed.
