credit transfer to secondary account

Hello all, I am wanting to know if I can transfer credits from my main account to my secondary account as I am trying to buy a second fleet carrier so that I can sell descent ships at a discount for our newer players in our squadron. To help them bounty hunt etc early in the game. I want to be clear that I am wanting to use my fleet carrier to transfer MY credits to MYSELF, NOT ANOTHER PERSON! I am simply wanting to buy a second fleet carrier on my second account. I am going to be using the same IP and the same ps4. I am NOT trying to give credits to another person. Some advice on this from a frontier forum admin and also if you could point me to the correct subject in which file a support ticket would be greatly helpful and much appreciated. Thank you for your time.

Then simply park you carrier somewhere remote, stocked with the most expensive commodities in bulk to fill a max cargo Cutter on the second account, then play with buy/sell prices so you can effectively transfer the credits across.

Set sell price to minimum so your second account trade ship can buy at minimum, then set the carrier to repurchase the sold goods for 1000% maximum price, then resell the cargo from the cutter. Depending on how much you wish to transfer, it might take a bit of switching back and forth. But it works.

Edit: I can't say I'm a fan of second accounts on the same platform. Especially when people start parking up fleet carriers on a permanent basis to milk for business.

I utilised this method to simply take my credit across from my Xbox account which I simply never play anymore after making the PS4 my primary.

I am asking if I can transfer to myself without getting banned. Not how..

Why would you get banned when it is your credit?

Do I look banned? I earned the money on xbox and added it to my PS4 because it is my money. Fdev could have transferred it for me in the beginning if I had asked them to do so.

I love how you lack appreciation for me taking the time to offer a solution with a breakdown on how to do it incase you wasn't aware of how.

My PC alt, went the hard way, and to be honest, I’ve actually enjoyed the curve back towards where I am on PlayStation.

It’s going to take a really long time mind you.

My first alt, the Steam account also went through the slow start, by the beginning of December 2019, working out by itself and not getting involved in engineering for more than 2 months
But then again:
  • it greatly benefited from the last CG of the 2019 (the last CG for the next 9 months) which yielded great cash rewards for both the trade CG and the bounty CG - my steam alt getting into top50% for both CG using a T-6 for the trade cg and a Cobra mk3 for the bounty CG, both non-engineered
  • it greatly benefited from the lingering effects of the Golconda CG - increased fed rank gains and discounts for fed ships - basically, my Steam alt got an easy and very cheap Fed Dropship - the mini python as i named it, which was the main workhorse for the next 2 months

So, quite a jump start

While my second alt, the free Epic account, started exactly one year later, got 1 billion grant from the steam account, for an easy going start - although, that account too went slow engineering, playing for more than 2 month in non engineered ships, then in mildly engineered ones later on (g3-g4 mostly, Palin being unlocked 1 month ago, more than an year since starting it)

And both my alts used rather different ships for ramping up, providing unique experiences compared with my main account on XB

I jump started 2 accounts over Xmas. The first is effectively my SLF pilot fleshed out to act as a proper business partner (she gets paid enough).
The second is an explorer who got rapidly put into an Asp with tech broker modules and has now left the Bubble to investigate a trend in data gathered by other explorers.

I recently created an alt and had planned to jump start my funds in it using my main accounts carrier to sell low and buy back high. But was recently told fdev will ban you for doing this. I have poured through these and many other forums and am getting mixed opinions on this. I have put a lot of work into my main account and really don't want to get banned. The alt account is supposed to be my explorer account so that I can still do BGS stuff with my squad and would like to bypass some of the grind to get a fleet carrier for my alt. Can anyone confirm that this is indeed against fdev's rules?

No one can confirm 100%, but since both accounts are "you" i dont personally see it as a problem
IF you'd did that for a stranger, then yea - things can get muddied by the suspicion of gold-selling, but that's not the case when you transfer credits to yourself

That's how I felt about it as well. Thanks for your reply.
