Credits via alien?

2million credit combat bounty per kill + Alien materials to sell, at this stage
No missions ? "Kill 0/5 aliens" but 2m per kill is good if you can kill it
Not much alien content on the mission boards just yet, no. The Alien content is still unfolding, as the powers that be learn more about them, and I'm sure that that kind of content, research or rescue missions will start showing up
There seem's to be ranks of Thargoids, I've had one give me 1M credits, 1 2M credits and 2 give me 3M credits.
