Creepy Hospital Props Set

So I've been working my minions have been slaving away on the dark ride for Quarantine Island. They've finally gotten the ride itself finalized and have now moved on to the scenery aspects of it. This has been a huge amount of work with nothing appropriate for an update to the park's story thread, but it occurred to me that some folks might be interested in using some of the scenery items in their own stuff, so I uploaded a "Creepy Hospital Set" of props. This will probably be expanded as work on the ride continues.

This blueprint contains 6 separate "buildings", each one of which is a prop. Plunk this blueprint down in a corner of the map somewhere, then build the real building you want to decorate with these items. When you want to use one of these items, exit editing the real building, select the appropriate prop "building", then duplicate and move the copy into the real building. Once there, enter edit mode on the prop "building". Select all the scenery bits (not the wooden column) and move, duplicate, and recolor them as desired. Then move/hide (recommended) or delete (NOT recommened) the wooden post. The wooden post is what makes each prop a "building", so you can use group-select on it without selecting any part of the real bulding. If you delete the column, then the prop dissolves into individual scenery pieces.

NOTE: All items are for indoor use only. As usual, the art shapes (used in all items) have really high specularity so look way too shiny in daylight. They're OK in the shade and especially in dark rides.

So what's in this set? I'm glad you asked. You get:

1. An antique wheelchair. This is about 1.5x life-size compared to peeps but is as small as possible given the available spoked wheels.

2. An antique, wicker-bladed ceiling fan (also available separately). The wingspan is slightly more than 4m so is intended for larger rooms.

3. Corpse on a Slab, ready for autopsy.

4. Corpse in a Bed (or maybe he's just got the covers pulled up). This one could easily be modified with the icing window frames into a child's bed [cool].

5. Corpse on an Operating Table (sometimes surgery doesn't work)

6. Corpse on a Gurney, ready to be wheeled to the morgue.

EDIT: All corpses approximately life-size compared to peeps (measured against a mechanic standing still). They're made of several pieces each, so it's easy to put them in slightly different poses, or make them bigger or smaller.

Anyway, I'd like to thank Frontier for all the nifty snowman and icing parts that can be put to such "happy" uses :)

Will definatly use those in a future project :D

I love the wheelchair.

creepy is right!!!

Uuuuuhhhhhh, those are nice [happy]

Asylum Darkride incoming [wink]

Thanks :)

My own favorite is the ceiling fan, just because I use it everywhere. But I think the wheelchair is pretty snazzy, too.

And @Tetsuo303, yes, this was all built for my asylum dark ride on Quarantine Island. Much mental illness amid large wards full of tropical diseases Fun fun fun :)
