This is strange. So strange that I decided to finally register on the forums to comment, after lurking in the research threads for months. You hear that sound that it makes in the video? Sort of a rhythmic... I don't know, beeping sound, for lack of a better word? All of the canned pre-2.4 interdictions had that sound playing while the Thargoid ship was in view. The Retaliation cinematic trailer had it when the ship was flying by at the beginning. I could never tell if it was supposed to be a sound the ship itself made or if it was a really unsettling sort of leitmotif... But I did notice that none of the Thargoid sightings I've seen from 2.4, including the handful I've conducted on my own, have had that sound.
Except this one.
What is different? Why is it different? Is it music? Is it supposed to be playing in all of them but every person that's recorded a video so far has had music turned off? I don't think I had music turned off... And if it is music, why would it sound like it's coming from the direction of the ship...? Am I overthinking this? Someone tell me I'm overthinking this!
