Crew members disappear

Hello everyone. I have lost two crew members in the last two days. I don't know whether it was due to a glitch or something I did wrong.

Here's what happened. I logged out of the game, and came back anther day, and then I realized that my crew member disappeared. I hired another one. The next day, same thing happened. I have three ships: The original sidewinder, an Eagle, and a Keelback. The Keelback is the only one that can fit a crew. I never destroyed the Keelback, so I think my crew members were not killed. However, before I log out of the game, I switched to the Eagle to do bounty hunting. In the process my Eagle was destroyed a few times. Did my crew member followed me to my Eagle? I think Eagle only has one seat. Or maybe NPC crews were designed to disappear once I log out of the game?

When you get back into the Keelback you have to make the crew member active again, in the station services menu. Did you do that?

Crew members are just gone, they are not inactive. I would notice my crew is inactive when I lost my first crew because I hired a second one there. There is no signs of where my previous crew members gone, I did not receive any message regarding them leaving me or dead. They just disappeared.

That's what ya get for hiring an inexperienced crew, stupid forgot ya just can't sneak outside of a cigarette in deep space.
