Crime and punishment.
Well after getting used to, especially now as stray shots in a RES give a fine that is easily paid off, it I think its way too soft! It needs buffing to.be far meaner. Put the danger back in Elite Dangerous.
1. Make all bounties payable from players. Eg you get killed and bounty paid by the pilots fed is paid from your account plus 20% processing fee. If not enough back in a sid with 100cr. Makes a life of crime more interesting. Upon respawn engineers aligned with bounty givers super power refuse to give you back an engineered module. You get unengineered back. For super high bounties where wanted in all major systems you get all engineered modules wiped. Engineering now is far easier than before anyway.
2. Bounties should end up with level and time spreading. You end up wanted in all fed systems for example. Current system far too easy to pay off bounties. Reduce the number of ISFs. Way too many and we shoukd have to pay a bribe as well to get bounties wiped. Make it a challenge!
3. Quadruple notoriety time decay.
4. Fsd reboot times should be quadrupled. It seems that the security state now makes a difference but more pirates please in anarchies etc. Fsd reboot times were set low to make running easier. Now security levels mean something I think it should be nerfed.
5. Make high wake mass locked also.
6. To make this more fun everyone gets a free duplicate account with same engineering access and 10 million credits (or less if main account is less) so we can all have a criminal account.
So what do you think? I want danger. Exciting second account life of crime dodging police bounty hunters and piracy? Trading want real risk vs reward? No more silly shieldless T9 builds in anarchies?
As a 90% pve player I want tough NPCs but also want some realism in pvp bounty systems. Being killed with a large bounty should hurt.
