Crime Punishment? What next?

So Im driving my SRV around a landbase and happen to go up on one of the platforms. I've done this in the past, and I think at most you'd get a warning. So I loiter a bit longer, then the warning turns to a bounty. Now the drones flying around aren't surrounded by green...but red. Somehow, I've gone from friendly? to a wanted criminal? No sorta back to orange , not friendly anymore but normal, and then to red? Sorta like you sat on some spot for too long and they now blow you up.
Great, ok, now I have that bounty. What now? I actually dont know the steps now in place to go pay off this bounty or anything. Why? Because my services at the dock are anonymous. What do I do now? Do I go to another system to clear this? I think, before, there used to be a timer or something and then upon jump things would clear. There's noone to pay at this thing.
Anyways, I've suggested this a while back, but I'll say it again. When you select a mission in your list, it'll bring up details of the mission, where to go, who its for. It could use more info, but it does the job. This same thing should happen when you click on bounties or fines. Click it, and it opens up a list or description of what to do. This is not tough....it's text...and once you know the way to do it, you may not need it again. But, if one of the steps is to go to a nearest "whatever" station, maybe it could list the nearest stations to accomplish what you want, legally, normally, efficiently.
Conversely, it'd be the illegal way, to achieve the same result, that should be unknown but dicoverable if you're crafty enough...no?

Well... Remember : "Loitering is a capital offense, punishable by death!".

You had the timer and chose to lure around longer - which noone does. Bad call.

To pay off the Bounty :
- locate your nearest Low Security System
- dock there and use Interstellar Factors (under Contacts) to pay off your Bounty

PS.
AFAIK the Conacts page actually tells you how to deal with Bounties and how to pay them off when dealing with Anonymous Access Restrictions.

Thanks for that, FalconFly. While that seems pretty straight forward after the fact, I didnt think to check the map for Interstellar Factors. I was happy seeing it is selectable, but I didnt think to look there before reading your reply. After selecting it, it then showed the systems that have those contacts. One thing, though, is when checking for which stations have it in their list of services, it shows 'Power Contact'. I suppose thats because there could be more than one type of Power Contact at a station (I may wrong on that). It would be a bit better if it had 'Power Contact - Interstallar Factors' or just 'Interstellar Factors' or other Power Contacts listed.

And the contacts page does say 'Find Interstellar Factors...' It'd be great, but probably would never happen, to have it list those nearest stations. This making it a bit easier for us law-abiding Commanders. - loitering infractions aside :) -

But, making things nice and easy for law abiding pilots should be a thing. This, ultimately would lead to criminals wanting to take out us goody-two shoes honourable Commanders more, maybe.

Thanks again!
