Criminal Gameplay needs to be made Viable and Meaningful

How the hell do you expect people to get wanted? Killing a clean NPC is okay? Killing a Clean Commander is not? Thats what the wanted status is for. Good lord some of the people on these forums are a dense as a neutron star.

Not sure if you understood his comment... He said "killing clean CMDRs for the sake of it is not criminal game play unless there is a reason."
This reason could be that he is roleplaying a serial killer or that he want all the tasty cargo. Yes, you are right, some people are dense...

I genuinely cant believe that. I and my clumsy mutton hands make quite a few creds in CZs with my Adder.

Admittedly I have to withdraw from time to time, particularly for reloads, but you can't always hold the upper hand IMHO.

And I can use a Cobra 3 to pirate a NPC, which was the point of the argument ;)

I did not comment killing npc vs Cmdr. Criminal gameplay involves both, but we discuss the pvp side of it.

You can get wanted in a number of ways. Doing a pirate mission, shooting cops, or whatever. It doesn't really matter. The thing is if you kill a clean CMDR OUTSIDE of any purpose or reason given by the game design, be it assassination missions, pirate missions, powerplay, then it should not be rewarded. It's just a psycho murder. It should be punished harshly. By all means same could stand for NPC murder, why separate...

If on the other hand you do criminal PvP because of an in game reason it should come with gteat risk and great reward.

Imagine if we could sign up as police for a system during a CG that has us hunt PC or NPC smugglers down, and rewards both smugglers and police for their successes. Just an example...
