Criteria for premium stations

Just a quick question: Do you know what are the specifics criteria that make a "premium" interior station?

Extremely wealthy systems trigger these...normally capitol systems as well (PP capitols, Sol/Achenar, etc).

I was disappointed to find that Jameson's Memorial wasn't a premium station. You'd have thought that after getting to Elite you'd have a bit of luxury at what is effectively your club house.

Specific criteria? Frontier picked the station to have one. Probably the case with these premium interior stations other vice i would order one.

Apart from Sol or Archenar, there doesn't seem to be any special criteria. The system doesn't need to be wealthy, the bulk of those stations are in Refinery/Extraction & Agriculture systems in Empire space (Patronage government). A few them are also in low population systems.

If your question is about how you could chane a station into a rich one, i guess there is no way it would happen on its own with any amount of player intervention, not without FD intervening directly. You could propose a CG though. Why this station is a rich one or not currently is unclear. I think many of these are chosen by FD (and some PG?) from the start. One has to remember than there can be both interior types in a single system with the same faction in control, and as far as i know, i never saw any station change.

I'd actually like a CG to create a High-Tech Ocellus Palm Tree / White station in LYR space... unfortunately they don't exist anywhere.

On a slight tangent - Shouldn't Hart Station in Bast system be a "White" station, since it is in orbit around the planet "THFC-Est 1882"

Rumour is that it was supposed to be called White Hart station but had to be changed possibly because some one objected, thinking it racist. Which is stupid really because Hart is another word for stag (as in male deer), the word for the organ of blood circulation associated with passion and love is spelt heart
