UPDATE: See my post below
I have submitted an issue ticket https://issues.frontierstore.net/issue-detail/71553 There seems to be a backlog with issues not loading, hopefully it went through ok.
For the last two days or so I have been encountering a critical bug where the client consistently crashes back to the desktop every time I attempt to plot a route in the galaxy map.
Everything else in the game seems to work normally. I can load into the game perfectly fine and fly around in supercruise, but the moment I hold to plot a route, when the progress bar reaches the end it immediately crashes to desktop. There is also no Error Reporting window showing up after the crash, only the launcher.
Does anyone know if there is another way to plot a route outside the GalMap?
Checks I've done so far:
I guess the last resort is to reinstall the game. Such bad timing during a CG specifically focused on high volume system scanning. I'm completely trapped in one system

Checks I've done so far:
- Updated GPU drivers
- Verified game files (Steam)
- Switched between solo and online modes
- Plotting routes via different menus in the GalMap (Plotting via bookmarks, using the plot route button, etc.) - all crash the same.
