Friend of mine keeps crashing, within 10 minutes of launching the game. It doesn't give an error code or anything. PC with a 1060, i7 8700 processor.

We ran updates, verified the game files, adjusted graphics settings, updated drivers, the whole nine yards. I'm at a loss.

What is crashing, what are the symptoms?

If it's the whole PC - in the past, we had a few cases of thermal and PSU issues, ED can put quite a strain on your system.

I had something similar on my old PC where the GPU would crash to desktop within 1 to 10 mins of a "hot" boot, i.e. using Windows 10 fast reboot feature.

However, it would work just fine from a "cold" reboot (first start of the day).

Eventually I disabled the fast reboot feature and the problem disappeared altogether.

Might be worth a try.
