"Critical updates" for console

Since there will be no Odyssey on console please FDevs give us console players some critical upgrades and features for Horizons
  • new planetary tech
  • space phenomena ( anomalies etc. )
  • support for PSVR 2 PS5 when it comes out
  • ability to transfer account from console to pc with all assets if requested

Feel free to add to the list commanders

New planetary tech is part of Odyssey, so that's no.
Support for anything is off, unless critical (IE it doesn't work), then it's likely
Prestige ranks are part of the Odyssey build, so that's no.

Consoles are effectively in maintenance mode. Essentially, that means nothing new will ever come to them. unless it affect ED as a whole (so BGS change or say Sol is removed from the game, that kind of things).
As for patches, only critical ones will be made (IE ensure it keep working).

The question remains about future CG and other community driven content. Or if we have stuff like Thargoid invasion and whatnot.

Yes. You are correct.

@OP I wouldn't expect anything for consoles now and FD hasn't given specific detail anyway (which now can't be trusted even if it was given).

There has been no real detail of how castrated the console versions are now only excuses and manufactured "truths"'.

Just like any other corporation really...... welcome to capitalism 21st century style.

Any new ships, weapons, or features etc, which don't require the Odyssey "tech" to run!

(When of course they really should be releasing the game on "next gen" systems and just giving us everything!

And really there's nothing stopping them delaying any or all of Odyssey's features on "old gen" until they optimise it to actually run well, fast tracking the game to "next gen" and releasing it all as said on "old gen", "eventually" - we can wait as long as we have to 🤔😯😂🩲🤘 .
