Ships Anaconda Critique my Anaconda for high-G planetary landings?

https://s.orbis.zone/25zk

I dropped from supercruise and leveled out and throttled down, on a 7G planet, and slammed into the surface and got a lot of damage. I let the shields fully charge and flew a few km from the surface and cut the throttle (to see if I just made a careless mistake), and my ship quickly started careening toward the surface at 150ms, and I had to boost like crazy to recover.

Can anyone critique that build, focusing mainly on the thrusters? And what would be some good modifications to my ship, to strike a healthy balance between range and ability to land on high-G planets safely?

On a planet of that gravity you're already at the default minimum thrust.
I have about 900 Mj absolute shields on my exploration Krait so I can put 4 pips to sys and not worry about it.

That said, I'd use way bigger and more powerful thrusters than that.
The aforementioned Krait has 5A G5 dirty drives.
