Ships Critique my Viper Mk III build

Here it is, my Viper Mk III build.
Using the 2D FSD since nearly all the fights are in system anyway.

Any suggestions?

What about the weapons? Should I get the multi-cannons overcharged? Nearly half way done.
And what experimental effect?
 
For the MC I'd go overcharged with 1x corrosive and 1x incendiary.

Beams, efficient with thermal vent.

Armour, use reactive rather than military
 
I'd suggest overcharged autoloader. Corrosive is great, but dissimilar engineering means different magazine capacities and guns out of synch. That bothers me. Autoloader just keeps delivering the good news.

For the rest, I don't have much advice. If it were my ship (which it is not) I'd look to lighten it to 90t, swap to Enhanced Performance dirty / drive distributors thrusters and have a 670 boost Viper. That sort of speed is better defense than all of those HRPs in my view.

I went with auto loader on one, corrosive on the other. Indeed, guns fire out of sync but that also means at least one of them is firing all the time.
Can't engineer the lasers just yet.
And since I seldom take any damage to the hull anyway, I'm quite happy with the military grade bulckheads.
 
Okay. The build you've got there, is okay for a Mk4. However, you have a MK3 and they can mount the crazy Advanced engines
Felicity Farseer sells them in outfitting. She will also engineer them to grade 3, which I have done for you on here, which gives you 588m/s boost. There's other things she can do if you tweak this, it can be light, lethal and above all fast, but I've tried to make the changes obvious.
