Cross Platform Direct messaging.

Considering how players across platforms can interact with Carriers and buy/sell anytime they want. It would be nice to be able to DM a carrier owner if say they have a trit deal and want to try talking to them, maybe offer extra tritium, negotiating, or even just to say thank you.

Now i dont mean Local chat or anything like that, just the ability to DM Cross platform would be nice.

Talking to players directly in chat meant for the people around you, when you cant even see them, makes no sense.

Then again i can see the appeal of talking to casper the not so friendly ghost.

Everything towards full crossplatform gameplay gets my vote :)
There's no reason to separate consoles and computers in elite

That's the nature of the game. Even on pc. Unless you're in high traffic systems you won't see much. There are far more systems than there are players
