Cross Platform (saves?) and (1) more . . .

So I get the complications arising from cross platform play, but there isn't much excuse (especially for a 3rd party dev) for not allowing cross platform saves. I would purchase a copy of the game (over time) for each of my consoles and PC if cross platform saves were a thing. This would mean that as I shift from platform to platform as I follow my buddies' game playing whims, I would have access to my commander everywhere I go. I should hope that there aren't a bunch of suckers out there purchasing ship kits and paint jobs on multiple accounts, encouraging Frontier to retain this "separate account per platform policy" in an effort to maintain a blatant cash grab (say it ain't so).

Also, it would be a major quality of life improvement to the game if "utilities" such as "Docking Computers" and Supercruise Assist modules" were designated utility fittings rather than taking up optional slots? My feeling is that I should be making a choice between a shield booster and docking computer rather than between a docking computer and cargo rack (just a thought).

Love the game. Can't wait to see what's coming!

You seem to have that all backwards, Frontier doesn't control the playstation and xbox networks, Sony and Microsoft do, I'm not sure how you can blame FDEV for that.

You've made the claim that FDEV is stopping cross platform play, can you produce the evidence for that, something from MS and Sony perhaps that says that cross platform play between Playstation, Xbox and PC is the game makers option.
