Cross play community help developers?

Basically what I trying to say is.

As a community what can we do to help push cross play to this game, is there any information from developers that can tell the community to help ease the process?

People/Company (Sony, Microsoft) to contact to give our enthusiastic insight, experience that could turn our dreams into reality?

When Sony doesn’t even allow crossplay for one of the most successful games ever – Minecraft – do you really think they would do so for ED?
