on the OR DK2. Unfortunately I seem to be getting worse performance under crossfire than with just one card. Reported GPU memory usage is going from around 1.5-2GB to 3.1GB (that's per card with each presumably holding same assets totalling 6.2GB) so I'm not sure if that's having an effect.
MSI afterburner is reporting that one card is on around 90% processing usage with the other only on around 40%.
I've tried all sorts of changes to settings in CCC and in the game and I cannot improve performance. Bear in mind that with my TV @ 1080p I'm playing everything maxed out and have no problems hitting a stable 60FPS (max of the TV).
Even with everything set to low and the OR image slider set very low I'm never hitting 75FPS in crossfire yet when I disable the 2nd card I get 75FPS in asteroid belts and only slow down in stations, though on fairly paired back settings to maintain a good FPS.
Is this just a bug at the moment and will be improved in the future or is there something I need to change in the settings? Really want to be able to get the performance up and turn on some bells and whistles!
My PC is 2x HD 7950 @ 1Ghz, i5 2500k @ 4.1Ghz with 8GB of 1600Mhz RAM - using latest drivers from AMD.
Any reports of other crossfire & DK2 users would be appreciated.
