I've had a search of this sub forum and didn't find anything like this (though i haven't read the DDF yet...)
Missions are quite basic my idea would be for Frontier to allow Players to create and submit their own missions.
At the moment there are only a very minimal number of missions types with a lot of duplication and it all seems quite stale and repetitive.
Frontier would just have to provide us with the framework to allow us to do this. It might not even require a lot of development if players are just providing some more interesting colour text and context for the already existing missions. types.
This could be region/faction/area specific and help create player hubs.
For example the Commanders who are hard at work trying to flip the allegiance of systems will have built up some lore and could actually get this in the game. This would attract more people to the system or general area if the missions were only available here.
The possibilities are endless if you think about it and could help players exercise their creative muscles and provide enjoyment for others
