Cruise liner and wedding barge.

So... while playing I received the usual "I can't remember my vows" message in the chat... except the wedding barge decided to spawn in Asterope. Thargoid hunting ground. Which was shortly followed by "top 1% of all lines out there". Again, in the same setting.

Is it possible to maybe:
  • Add a check to those NPC ships so they don't spawn in insane locations. I'm sure most people wouldn't consider getting married in a system where they can be jumped by a flying howling space cabbage spewing acid.
  • Reduce the spawn frequency. Right now those lines only remind that the world is fake. There is no variation, they're completely identical. If "cruise liner" appeared once per several month, it would be more believable. Currently it is possible to have two cruise liners talk simultaneously.

Or maybe ... it is the time to remove them? The lines aren't even voiced, unlike rescue mission NPCs.

Thargoids won't jump anyone in that system. They strictly stick to their own signal sources and if you don't bother them, they won't bother you (disregarding the possibilities of a hyperspace interdiction on the way out/in to the system).

Believe it or not, NPC signals like the 1% liner, wedding barges and funeral processions aren't random - they're all tied to certain system states being active. They're a source of information and shouldn't be removed.

Would be nice if we could disable npc chatter.
It just clutters up the text box, they NEVER say anything usefull, and after a while you have seen it all.
Especially since i use edcopilot its critical to put a timeout on voiceovers otherwise it becomes obnoxious real fast.

In fairness Ive seen some recent updated chatter. mostly about exo-biology and the like. I've said it before but I think Frontier should hire some interns to build up a database of varied and ongoing dialogue. It would be good if they could tie into locations within the same system - e.g. some chatter about.a crash site reported on moon x; further chatter about a reward for a item there returned to station y and so on. Exo chatter might reference a new bio discovery on a moon and so on

All I know that I get cruise liner chatter in every system I pass through, in some cases more than one at the same time. So it is constant "top 1% liner" spam. I would prefer that "source information" to remain silent.

It would be tolerable if there was a variation. But there isn't. The dialogue is carbon copy every time. Player can also check system states on the map.
