Cuban crocodiles! More unique than you might think.

Cuban croc facts that may surprise you:
  • Closest thing to a terrestrial croc we have today.
  • Has strong legs, reduced webbing, quite agile on land. Can hop, gallop as well as jump vertically on land.
  • Cooperative pack hunting behavior on dry land.
  • A terrestrial predator of extinct insular megafauna, like ground sloths and giant tortoises.
  • Highly aggressive, can be dominant over American crocodiles, despite smaller size.
  • Can be taught tricks, suggesting intelligence.
  • Brighter adult coloration, and has 'pebbled' scales.
  • Endemic to the Caribbean.
  • Critically endangered.

Can anyone see the two videos I posted? On my screen that area is blank. It's a shame, because those two videos really complement the text.

I can also see them, mate. These guys would definitely make an interesting addition to the game! I want Niles or slender-snouted crocs too. Can't live without an African crocodile in a zoo game.

I wonder if Frontier would be willing to invest that much Time and Resources into making Unique Animations for these Crocodiles when they are Sprinting, so they actually Gallop instead of the Regular Sprint Animation we have for other Crocodilians. If they don't, then they'll just be another Basic Croc with different Colouration and Conservation Status.

Therefore this is an All or Nothing kind of situation for me. I rather not have them if they don't behave unique enough. But if they do, they have my Vote.

I wish the gharial slid on its stomach

No thank you, I have my fill of crocodiles

I love Gharial and Saltwater Crocodiles the most, and they were there from the start, then came a small crocodile and I got that with the dwarf caiman, the Alligator is awesome looking, but I don't need any more crocodiles, hope they stop with them, Nile Crocodile could be a free gift on national crocodile day or something like that, other than that, STOP, in the name of love!

Let's hope Support will last long enough to make everyone happy.
I'm really not ready for another Planet Zoo game, I hope they support this for years to come, what can they do different in a new game? Just improve this game until all animals are in.

My PC already has problems with this game, so creating an even more graphical new Planet Zoo will crush my PC to pieces.

Cuban would be my 2nd choice for a new croc after an African one. But I think we get 1 more most likely so I guess we'll have to wait till pz2. At least then we could also get the freshy, Chinese gator and tomistoma to fill the croc roster. But for now it just feels like wasted spots.

My immediate reactions was: Nope.
But I admit I'm impressed after watching two videos.

I really really do not want anymore crocodilians in the game. But if for some reason the developers decided on one more, I'd be OK with the Cuban crocodile.

Cuban crocodiles are neat animals but if I had to choose another croc it would probably be the freshwater or false gharial. I would have preferred the Nile over the saltwater for the base game but at this point I’m fine with the saltwater. To me the unique look of the freshwater and false gharial add something more to the game.
