I've been particularly festive this year as I'm having to take all of december off for family reasons, so I'm making the most of it with outside xmas lights on the house etc. But even so, I have to admit I've been pretty hyped for the 12 days of xmas specials in the frontier store... So I thought I'd this here thread for posting screenshots of the new special edition paint jobs :)

Looking at them im kinda relieved.. the current ones look like they're just filling out the ships they didn't include from previous years limited so probably won't be going too crazy with them. I've got so many premium looking skins already for all the ships im going to fly there's a bit of a glut.. the corvette being the best example there are so many excellent looks for it.

The LEP skins look like there's going to be a new iridescent variant as well.. though its worse than the ones on sale earlier so a relief there too. Its basically chromed with a pink highlight. Also counting against it is nothing beats the original chrome (not chromed) versions.. every new chromed doesn't matter how shiny simply won't be as good ;)

Thank goodness they didn't reward LEPs with the gold framed Sidewinder or golden Cobras, ships which so many of us have left behind (no offence to Sidewinder and Cobra lovers)! At least with the freebies for bigger ships they gave us something to look forward to later, even if we don't own those big 3 at present.

Nothing there that makes my debit card eagerly jump out my wallet, however I'll probably grab the chromed dolphin, gold cobra and possibly the chromed viper later on when burning some birthday money on some of the later and hopefully more irresistible festive paints. Having gold(en) and chrome(d) cutter vette conda etc like Karrde Sun I also have a glut of premium looking skins, personally I'm hoping for some love for imperial clipper, that would look sweet in chrome(d) or gold(en)

It would be helpful if FD provided us with a date when the Christmas Countdown closes (it's not usually just before Christmas).

You guys are aware, I hope, that the twelve days of Christmas STARTS on the 25th of December? I.E. Dec 25 to Jan 5

Was just able to place an order for the two Midnight paintjobs from here in the US, so the store is working fine at the moment.

No. The twelve days of Christmas begin with the birth of Christ. Google if you don't believe. Advent counts down to Christmas, the twelve days counts from Christmas.
I am an athiest myself, so dont really give a hoot.
