Cult video game

It touches on life under an authoritarian regime, the potential power of an apparently powerless individual, the choices and balance between personal safety and "taking a stand"... Through a repetitive bureaucratic mechanical task (that complicates over time and that you need to master well enough to earn a living), you cruise through the story and there are a lot of events and endings to discover that come from your choices. It's not just a bureaucratic simulator.

I generally dislike the new "it`s an experience" modern games because there is no game in them

this one though is an experience but at the same time there is a cool little game in it with a nice difficulty curve

What I personally enjoyed the most was that emotions in this game originate from you being put in stressful uneasy situations and having to make difficult decisions often from the "lesser evil" variety, or even feel the pressure of work and ever increasing demands... as opposed to most modern "it`s just like movie!" type of games where emotions originate from the characters that you watch and you just have an empathic reaction to it

It also quite nicely portrays some of the hardships of people living under post 1945 socialist regimes

It`s a nice adult game with a lot of unique charm

Looking forward to the Elite Space station controller mod Access Denied :)

Nothing gets past these guys

I wish I was English like my hero Tj.
I love this game. I agree with what Fishy and Jools say about it. This is why it's such a compelling experience for me.

Saw the trailer. Instantly knew I'd play it.

#1 Sound & Music The main theme already sold it for me. Illustrates a "soviet bloc" country theme quite well.

#2 Setting Nothing fancy - Just good old iron curtain border incidents

#3 Gameplay Check info fast with increasing pressure by adopting new rules and tasks. It's about how to handle new workflows before your pixel son at home dies.

Overall the narration is slim but the atmosphere is dense. I liked this game. Still play it sometimes.

It's been delayed but hopefully still a thing

If we're doing derived works, here's an Arstotzkan Air Force livery for DCS:
