Curious to know whether Mars will be terraformed and landable.

The title says it all, well...Sort of.

Given the time frame within the simulation what will become of the Solar System once it's able to be explored? Going further what should we expect to see of the planets in the Solar System besides Earth once we're able to land on planets and moons? A few planets and moons I'm curious of is Neptune, Titan and Io. Reasons being should be obvious, Neptune for it's diamonds (possible diamond mining given the right conditions.)

Titan for it's frozen oceans of Methane, and Io for it's violent volcanoes.

I would love to see all of the planets and moons in their dynamic lifestyles. And I would love to see Mars under a blue sky as gorgeous as the game itself. Complete with flora, fauna and natural life.

Any takes on this would be nice I suppose.

Yes, I heard David Braben mention this in an interview and that Mars will be terraformed.

Also, Earth will be different due to rising sea levels.

Well...mars has been terraformed some centuries before the game starts, and its actually the center of administration for the Federation Faction. ;)

It was in FE2, so I doubt it will have gone backwards since then.

Can't remember the Mars star ports off the top of my head though, other than the blue skies of 'Olympus Village', as I tended to frequent 'Mars High' myself.

Yes Mars was terraformed, already in FE2. No reason it is not in ED. Unless that an epidemic has forced the humanity has abandoned Mars ?
