Current situation about LAW, griefers and punishments?

Hi cmdrs.
I've away for about a year... I wanted to come back for a flight a need to know how the situation evolved about speed limits, punishments and law in general. Has there been any significant change from past year? Are there still projectile eagles trying to f*ck you up crashing into your Anaconda in Open mode near stations, etc.?

Don't go over 100 m/s when there are players around. This hasn't changed. There is now a global bounty and rebuy penalty for killing players and some kind of Super Cop response force is coming in the next year. But currently it's still as dangerous as ever. Fly safe!

Thank you Tadeus. The 100 m/s speed limit is in force in how many Km range around the station?
