It’s the first time I managed to get my SRV stuck without having the option to log in non horizons to escape. What’s the plan now? Don’t really want to self destruct!

Log in to non-horizons as usual ....
Um pretty certain you do have the option, unless you are playing on console.
Gah! I feel pretty stupid now. I thought that when Horizons had been made available for all there was no longer the option to choose it from the menu! I managed to free the SRV with the advice given, thanks to all. Also puttting the turret up and down and toggling the scoop...I got stuck twice, each way up.
It’s the case on console that you can’t choose the base game though isn’t it? Perhaps I had been thinking of my Xbox account, will look later, that’s what you’re referring to Micky? Anyway, thanks all....why do the selenium places have to be so perilous?!

My current situation, stuck in SRV and none of the Panels work.
So I cannot reboard my ship, or get it to change cockpit modes.
So I quit the game, and restarted ED without Horizons.
This put me in orbit without either a SRV or Bay, and all controls work normal.
I then quit the game, and restarted ED with Horizons.
This put me in orbit with my SRV and Bay, and all controls work normal.
Now waiting to find out the fix for my problem.
So I cannot reboard my ship, or get it to change cockpit modes.

Most likely your bindings were not loaded or messed up.
You did set up SRV bindings at some time in the past, and possibly also after any catastrophic events regarding your bindigs? SRV uses different bindings from the ship for a lot of things.

Hey I tried something today, I went into my control settings and turned on look focus,
now when I look left, center, and right, the panels appear, and I can use them.
However the key Binds still do not work, What kind of mess is that ?
Also the Cockpit Change Mode, is still not working, it is stuck in explore mode, so I cannot use the turret gun.

Have you double checked that the bindings for thenSRV are actually set up? They are different to the main Ship bindings.
Have you tried changing them to see if other keys do work if they were set up.
Yep, Done all that, Game seems to not see number keys or F12 for mode switch.
I went back and set open panels when look, and that works, but keys still not work.
Also mode switch F12 not working. ???????
Have done so, They are being very Helpful, But no solution yet.
They are generally helpful and I'm sure you'll get it sorted out.
Isn't F12 one of those awful keys that get hijacked by things like Nvidia etc?
Why not assign a different key?
I wonder if you are having trouble getting your assignments actually saved? Do they seem to be listed OK in your controls / options screen? (Changes not being saved is a known issue that can be caused by having copies of binds files in the same directory.)

I think this was result of one of the last patches, don't know which one.
I have not used the SRV for awhile, this is first time after the patches.
Also Support told me:
( I made a copy of your account data and loaded this up on my test account,
but was unable to reproduce the issue; I had access to all panels while the SRV was deployed.
This would tend to suggest that there's not something within your specific save data that's causing this,
though it's still possible, as there are some checks that are run on integrity when a save is copied that may have altered the outcome.)
