Current target should be selected when open contacts screen

Didn't find this specifically in search of forum.
Is anybody else finding it a real pain selecting the current target when opening the contact screen?
I scroll down and miss the one I'm after and then new/lost tragets are added and my target has changed position in the list.
I'm being fired on and need to check I can fire back and I'm wasting time like this...

Please can the current target be auto selected on opening this screen?

I was very hopeful that this would be fixed when they did it for galaxy map (holds onto selected target now in contacts).
So silly to have to take that extra step at a critical moment every time in combat. FD, please prioritize this easy fix!! :)
