Cursor missing in kb + mouse in Horizons

At first I thought it was because I have a controller plugged in for certain games. Cursor is not on screen so cannot click anything. Removed controller, chose kb and mouse again, still no cursor. Does Horizons not have a way to use mouse + kb? The mouse worked fine in Odyssey but cannot get past the tutorial so trying Horizons.

Have you checked the in-game settings? There is a setting for mouse cursor. And I only use kb+m, so I guarantee it does work. EDO and EDH both.

You don't fly the ship using a cursor - only in the menus. if you're trying to fly the ship and expecting a cursor then ... don't.

As @Factabulous says - the ship cockpit does not use the mouse - your keyboard (or controller / joystick buttons) controls all the selection process in your cockpit's UI.

The manual (link in the launcher) shows the default controls:

N.B. In space you can use the mouse when flying, never done it myself but lots of people do.

Fair enough thanks. So Horizons, Day 1, 60 seconds in Theo says to select Auto Launch. Tried all the keys, finally used the arrow key which lit this selection up. Must be several more key binds not listed here. Had to use this list to finally use space key to activate.
