Custom animatronics

Before going all out with this idea I would like to start with an easier version to implement: Static custom figures.

Sometimes I would like to put down some scenery figures, but there aren't any that really fit. What if you could create a figure, somewhat like how you would create your avatar. Pick a type of figure, put it in some cloths and give it a pose. Maybe even give it a/some accessoire(s) to hold. Press a button and now you can but this just created figure somewhere in your park. Imagine the possibilities if the choice between poses/cloths/accessoires is big enough.

To go even further on this idea, what if you could give this figure a track, move it back and forth and give it some timed animations.

It would be a lot of work to implement, but after its done you dont have to put any single animatronics in the game anymore, since anything is possible to be created wit this (At least when it a human figure involved).

This idea!

I was on the verge of posting a thread of my own, then saw this one.

Animatronics with poses, perfect for darkrides, and maybe some standard movements (shooting, looking, waving) just like you can select a sequence with the rides.

I really miss a lot of dark ride stuff. And more animatronics is one of them.

And it can be something like the avatar editor for instance.

I would like the ride controllers, with their little booths as an animatronic (Male & Female versions)
this would work great with the display sequencer console to allow you to have control booths or other "Park Function" type things built into scenery.

This would be very simple to build as all the animation / modelling etc is already done, just needs making into an item

@luuknoord Thanks for reanimating this thread ;).

I was actually surprised no one backed up this idea at first, I think it can actually be very useful and awesome.

Lets keep the votes coming! :D

Yeah, it would make darkrides even better!

Also audio connected to bespoke figure as an extra option instead of having to laydown another speaker and link them.
