I dont know if this has been talked about any were but iv had no luck finding it dose any one know if it will be possible to customise you commanders looks and bulids. like sex hair type build skin type ect and may be out fits from each the the factions what do you guys think?

I'd expect this to be added later if/when they release an expansion that allows you to get out of your ships seat and go do 'stuff'

Incidentally, how strange was it in retrospect that EVE had a really very good avatar builder and for most of that games life it basically just created a tiny headshot of your commander? Odd but cool.

And they are planning to release a DLC for getting out of your ship, so it's more a "when" than an "if".

A face generator with sliders that lets you customise an avatar in such a way that it can be expressed in a short string of digits. I fully expect to see this, as they'll need a version of it for creating the countless NPCs as well.
It's quite neat too, as it can be used to create "ethnic" planets and stations where people have features mostly like x and a skin-tone near y.
But AFAIK there was not a single word from devs at this matter, so we are all just speculating.

Id like to see it in at a later date as in we get it and can choose how we look, i also hope any new pieces that come in allow us to change facial appearance in terms of hair mainly, also different body shapes!
