Customer Service Deserves Praise

After buying the early edition last night, I quickly lost patience and decided although the game looks incredible, it wasn't worth $93 CDN at this time for me personally. I've been playing RCTW since last week and for now I think I will just stick to playing one early edition of a coaster park game. That said, I really want to commend customer service. I submitted a ticket politely explaining that I do like the game but had buyer's remorse and would like a full refund. When I checked my email this morning I had a polite response, granting a full refund, no questions asked.
This kind of service keeps customers coming back. They could have said no, it's a digital download. They could have made me go through the resolution centre at Paypal, they didn't. I was really grateful
I think Planet Coaster looks to be an awesome game in the future and when the full release is available I will definitely be buying the deluxe edition. Have fun and enjoy, be seeing you here in the future. [up]
 
applause to the Customer Service and to Generally everyone involved with Planet Coaster. It is really a breath of fresh air to have a great team dedicated to this game.

Frontier have always had great customer service as far as I'm concerned, I can't fault them. It's sad that you picked RCTW over PC, I've not actually played the other one yet, but think I'll wait a little longer, as certain things about it I didn't like... Anyway enough of that other one.

My question is - WHY did you lose patience to ask for your money back? what sort of problems were you having? I'm interested to know if the problems were you just not understanding what to do/or how, or is your computer not good enough?

My computer is a high end gaming machine so that was not an issue, but it could certainly be partly because of my own lack of understanding how the controls work and having issues placing paths and objects. I definitely will love the game in the future but for now, I will just hang on until either a few updates or even until the game is released in full. I will be back in the future, count on it. I don't claim one game is better than the other but I am committed to the other one just because that was where I started and I am a longtime fan of that particular franchise. Dealing with two early bird releases, not recommended. nope.
But let us not debate the merits of the games, I really just wanted to praise customer service. Update, I emailed them and thanked them for their prompt and kind service but I made it clear I know they are busy and told them there was no need to reply to my thanks but they did anyway with even more kind words. That's just awesome.[yesnod]
