Customizable Ship Loadout Presets

Now with the outfitting growing even more complex due to Thargoid modules coming up, it would be great to have a
"Save current loadout as preset"
option.

Equip your ship, save the loadout as "LR Exploration" (for example), change to a bounty hunting configuration after a while, then just "reload" the Exploration Preset to refit your ship as you did before.

Modules that are not available anymore or on another ship could be highlighted and just not changed.

This would make it much simpler to change playing style without having to own a ship for each style, or spend time for refitting every time. As well as having to look up/save former loadouts on edshipyard or coriolis.

This does make sense as a progression from the addition of module storage

Personally I own multiple copies of the same basic hull to achieve the desired effect, that does require more money though.

A part of this game that I really like is that you are often faced with a dilemma & have to choose (for example) whether to specialise your ship, refit for a new job or go with multi-purpose. Your suggestion doesn't impact on that dilemma and saves a little cash (by not needing extra hulls) and time. All positives.

Oh, that would save soooo much time. It would work only if you have enough modules (or even more likely, those exact ones used in preset creation) in storage.

Yep. I'd love to have a preset option, but it would probably be limited to wherever you store your modules, unless you are only using stock items. Would love to see it.

Yes, presets please! Also, in "Outfitting" can we have tabs for each of our ships at the current station, so we can just tab through them instead of having to go to the shipyard?
